Gabriella Pace

Soprano

Gabriella Pace is a two time winner of the Carlos Gomes Prize ‘Best Female Singer’ in Brazil. The second in 2010 was for her performance in ‘A Menina das Nuvens' by Villa-Lobos. Gabriella has worked with distinguished conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Christian Vásquez, Christian Kluxen, Rodolfo Fischer and Roberto Minczuk.

She sang  Haydn’s “Die Schöpfung with the Orchestra and Choir of RTVE in Madrid under the direction of Jaime Martín.

In January 17 Gabriella was Adele in Strauss Die Fledermaus in Aarhus with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.

In season 15/16 Gabriella was engaged with The Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen as Nannetta in Verdi’s FALSTAFF and also appeared as a soloist at the Royal Danish Orchestra's New Year's Concert, singing Bernstein and Villa-Lobos.

In 2015 she sang Schoenberg's String Quartet and other recitals at Kerteminde Chamber Music Festival in Denmark, appearing with Trio con Brio Copenhagen, David Kadouch and Andreas Brantelid.

In 2016 and 2017 at Ekestad Chamber Music Festival in Sweden and at the Glyptoteket in Copenhagen she sang recitals with the great pianist Bengt Forsberg.

Among her roles are Jenufa, Fiordiligi, Ilia, Pamina, Tytania, Liù, Adina and Gilda.

She has also appeared as a soloist in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Orffs Carmina Burana, Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang, Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini’s Stabat Mater.

Recordings include the Requiem Ebraico by Zeisl with OSESP (Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo), Villa-Lobos Canção do Amor with Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais (Naxos) and Ciclo Portinari e Outras Telas Sonoras by João Guilherme Ripper.

Gabriella started her music and vocal studies with her father, Héctor Pace, and later on studied with Leilah Farah in São Paulo and  Pier Miranda Ferraro in Milan.

She is currently studying with Sylvia Sass in Rome and Budapest.


Gabriella Pace har to gange vundet Carlos Gomez prisen for Bedste Kvindelige Sanger i Brasilien. Gabriella har arbejdet med kendte dirigenter som Lorin Maazel, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Christian Vásquez, Christina Kluxen, Rodolfo Fishcher, og Roberto Minczuk. Hun har sunget Haydns “Die Schöpfung” med orkestret og koret RTVE i Madrid under dirigent Jaime Martin. I januar 2017 optrådte Gabriella som Adele i Strauss “Die Fledermaus”  med Århus symfoniorkester. I 2015/2016 sæsonen var hun Nannetta i Det Kongelige Operas produktion af Falstaff, og var solist i Kapellets Nytårskoncert, hvor hun sang Bernstein og Villa-Lobos.

Hendes roller er bl.a. Jenufa, Fiordiligi, Ilia, Patina, Titania, Liu, Adina, og Gilda.

Hun har optrådt som solist i Mahlers 4. symfoni, Beethovens 9. symfoni, Orffs Carmina Burana, Mendelssohns Lobgesang, Mozarts Requiem, og Rossinis Stabat Mater.

Gabriella startede hendes musikalske uddannelse og vokal træning hos hendes far, Héctor Pace, og studerede senere under Leilah Farah i Sao Paulo og Pier Miranda Ferraro i Milan.
